The Bisbee Arizona Visitor Center is thrilled and humbled to share that we have been honored with a 2025 Arizona Travel Award! Being selected for recognition as the Best Visitor Center in Arizona for 2025 is one of our most exciting accomplishments.
Bisbee City Manager Stephen J. Pauken remarks, “Wow! This is a significant award for our tourism group! Thanks to Heather and Janet, along with the Arizona Office of Tourism, Explore Cochise, and all in Bisbee who support our tourism efforts.”
The Arizona Travel Awards recognize and celebrate exceptional travel destinations and attractions throughout the Grand Canyon State. With a passion for travel among Arizonans, this awards program, presented by PHOENIX magazine, highlights the remarkable places, businesses, and activities that inspire travelers to embark on adventures across this stunning state. With an affluent readership of over 464,000, PHOENIX magazine is the most influential media resource in Arizona.
“Assistant Manager Janet de Acevedo Macdonald and I are excited to share this recognition with our community, and we look forward to continuing to exceed expectations for years to come,” says Heather Andrews, head of Bisbee Tourism and Bisbee Visitor Center Manager.
For the Bisbee Visitor Center, this award reflects the two-person team’s commitment to excellence and the dedication it puts into every service offered. More importantly, this recognition is shared, as it demonstrates how the visitor center, local businesses in Bisbee, and the City of Bisbee, especially the Copper Queen Mine Tour staff, work together to welcome over 100,000 annual visitors. Loyalty, feedback, and trust have been the driving forces behind this collective success, and all are incredibly grateful for the opportunity to serve the Bisbee community.
Congratulations to the Bisbee Visitor Center from all of us at the Muheim Heritage House Museum and Muheim House Committee.
We hope to swing by after Labor Day after visiting friends in Pahrump, Nevada.
